The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is the National Conservatoire of Wales. It contributes to the cultural identity of Cardiff and Wales and attracts some of the most gifted students from around the world.

The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is part of the University of South Wales Group and a member of Conservatoires UK, Federation of Drama Schools and the European Association of Conservatoires.

RWCMD is a space for everyone – inclusivity is a core value and we respect each other. This is integral to our excellence.

We recognise the global climate emergency and join the many organisations around the world calling for urgent action to tackle climate change.

Fellowships are awarded to leading inspirational figures in the arts with a connection to the College and/or Wales. A Fellowship is awarded as an honour for life and is usually presented at the annual graduation ceremony.
