Short biography

Sue Verran is a multimedia composer with two decades of hands-on industry experience. She works with globally renowned musicians, recording for Audionetwork in the iconic Abbey Road Studios with Double Grammy Award Winner, Dame Evelyn Glennie DBE. With eight albums and four EPs to her recording career, heard globally on international playlists, Sue continues to compose and produce high-quality production and library music for major brands and international companies.

A passionate field recordist, singer-songwriter and collector of authentic, original samples, Sue prioritises storytelling and emotion in her compositions, often using cutting-edge technology to push creative boundaries.

Sue believes that future-proofing artistry is key in today's ever fast-changing industry. She considers it an honour to equip students with the vital tools needed to stand out, thrive, and navigate the exciting challenges of modern music composition.
