Jamie Farrow

Year of graduation: 2025

Jamie began his singing journey with Berkshire Youth Choir, and then went on to sing with The National Youth Choir of Great Britain (and Chamber Choir) and the Rudolfus Choir. He spent a year as Tenor Choral Scholar at Exeter Cathedral Choir, performing alongside Tenebrae, before obtaining a First-class music degree from the University of Birmingham. During his three years in Birmingham, Jamie was Tenor lay clerk at both Birmingham Cathedrals, Tenor Scholar with the CBSO under Simon Halsey (Tippet’s A Child of Our Time, Deutsche Grammophon 2019), and sang with the Birmingham University Singers under both Bob Chilcott and Simon Carrington. Jamie has also recorded several albums as a backing vocalist for Katherine Jenkins.

Now in the first year of his Masters in Vocal Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, studying under James Gilchrist, Jamie has enjoyed a variety of opportunities such as the Opera Gala with the orchestra of WNO, Tenor chorus and one of the ‘Quattro Medici’ in Respighi’s La bella dormente nel bosco.
