RWCMD College Chorus, Chamber Choir and instrumentalists

A celebration of poetry and large-scale choral works. Carl Orff’s epic is a series of 24 secular songs based on a collection of medieval poetry by the same name and was reworked by the composer to feature two pianos and percussion accompanying the hundreds of massed voices. The same forces were chosen by RWCMD Head of Composition, John Hardy in his collection of R.S.Thomas poetry Not Darkness But Twilight making this a perfect pairing.
