Today’s concert is all about exploration and discovery, both musically and thematically.Peter Graham's Journey to the Centre of the Earth inspired by Jules Verne's novel, captures the adventurous spirit of the "Voyages Extraordinaires." Expect a musical journey full of excitement and imagination as you venture into the depths of the earth.

Kenneth Hesketh's work offers a fresh take on 18th-century music, blending traditional elements with new harmonies and rhythms. By adapting classic compositions with contemporary twists, Hesketh brings a unique energy and drama to the set, bridging the old and the new.

Lucy Pankhurst's Ticket: 250654 honours the musicians aboard the Titanic with a poignant and reflective piece. Using the ticket number of these musicians to generate musical material, Pankhurst creates a work that commemorates the tragic event while infusing it with artistic creativity.

Overall, this concert weaves together themes of exploration, innovation, and commemoration, offering an engaging and diverse musical experience.
