CATS: the real musical

Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama presents an extraordinary new production of CATS, reimagined like never before.

In a world first, we are replacing the traditional cast of actors with a specially trained company of real cats. This daring new production explores the boundaries of performance, movement, and feline unpredictability, offering audiences a truly immersive and unpredictable theatrical experience.

Directed by acclaimed movement specialist Kitty Purran the show has been developed in collaboration with leading animal behaviourists, voice coaches, and feline communication experts. The cast includes diverse talent, from former street performers to pedigrees trained in method acting.

This production promises to be as mesmerising as it is unpredictable.

This show includes real-time translation technology assisting in live interpretation of every purr, tail flick, and leap.
